With the Smarticate app, the team can simulate and manage every aspect of a digital production workflow - from work and time registration to quality checks and documentation - all in line with the exact processes used by more than 70 employees at VMT Groep. Built as an operational tool for Smarticate's own team, the app reflects real shop-floor scenarios and helps developers test new features, partners deliver demos and the organisation validate integrations with ERP systems such as Ridder iQ and others.

The app reflects Smarticate's founding principle: that every employee on the shop floor should be able to access information, register it and act on it without delays or errors, through one central system. The internal app, developed by Apperium, offers a fast, mobile interface for all of Smarticate's production functionality. It is designed to eliminate paperwork, prevent miscommunication and support Smarticate's mission of digitising the production floor completely and without friction.
By using the app internally, Smarticate ensures that every feature it offers customers has been thoroughly validated in a real production environment. It lets the team replicate complex workflows, test edge cases and refine usability based on real user feedback before anything is rolled out at customer sites. The app also supports partner onboarding and shows what Smarticate can do during demos, making it an important part of the sales and support process. The design emphasises clarity, reliability and direct interaction with the underlying ERP logic – proof of Smarticate's commitment to delivering practical, scalable digital solutions for manufacturing.
